Cooperation with schools
During the silk production season, workshops for children are organized in cooperation with schools, kindergartens, museums or other institutions. The life cycle of silkworms is presented to children in an interactive way so that they can get aquainted with all the stages of a silkworm's life, from eggs to caterpillars to butterflies. During the workshop, children learn about the production of silk thread and the traditional use of silk. The presentations were designed with the aim of popularizing and maintaining the traditional production of silk in Konavle.
