Documentation and preservation of the Mijo Šiša Konavljanin ethnographic collection
In the gallery of Mijo Šiša are numerous objects that have been used in the household for the past 200 years. All of them bear witness to the way of life in Konavle and represent a valuable collection for interpreting traditional life. To this day, due to wars and other misfortunes in the houses of Konavle, not even the local museum has preserved such a large amount of objects. This is why we are particularly interested in protecting this collection and presenting it for the community as soon as possible.
The items have been listed and documented, and the process of protection and conservation work has begun.
